I don't want to delete David's comment because I don't believe in doing that except in cases of spam or personal threats of violence or harassment.
I also don't want to respond to David directly as that will just encourage him further.
However, someone else may come by and take an interest - so this comment is for you, my reader.
Firstly - sorry about the state of the blog. I'll get back to updating it eventually. I promise (hint: that is probably a lie).
David is someone with whom I engaged in a brief attempt at conversation over at Freethought Blogs. I was initially skeptical that he was even worth taking seriously, but decided to give him a chance to prove me wrong.
Despite making my expectations clear throughout the conversation, David nonetheless conducted himself with a general lack of intellectual honesty, integrity and rigor.
Realizing this was not a pattern that was likely to change I quickly opted out of the conversation.
Apparently this has proven to be enough to motivate David to hunt down this old blog of mine and leave the message above. I'm not sure why, but I'm past caring at this point.
